Family-Owned Company Pleads for Help Catching Railroad Bandits
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 20, 2025 - In a series of events reminiscent of a Wild West film, 4Patriots announced today the latest development in the brazen theft of its newest solar generator units from a rail car last month: a $10,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible.
The first batch of Patriot Power Generator 1200 solar generators was traveling by train when looters pried open a sealed container and made off with 112 units, valued at more than $168,000. Local and railway police are investigating the crime, but no arrests have yet been announced.

Authorities on the Hunt for Modern-Day Train Robbers
Railway robberies are on the rise. Train cars carrying electronics are often targeted due to their attractive black-market value.
Last month, Federal officials attributed an increase in railroad theft activity to the Sinaloa Cartel. The announcement came after bandits in Phoenix used saws and bolt cutters to vandalize equipment and cut air brakes on a moving train.
“They find a location for several burglars to get on the train, open container doors while the train is moving and target merchandise such as electronics, tools and footwear.” Homeland Security Investigators said in documents filed in a U.S. District Court.
