The answer is very simple. Why not? The second solar panel makes a difference. Not only allowing you to charge twice as fast but, will help handle the load when using the generator. Even if you think, “that’s a lot of money” well you are right. However the advantage outweighs the cost. Here is a question, what if your original panel gets damaged (Lord forbid)? Without the second panel the generator is just a backup battery. And if you are without power for several days, then what? I was a team leader in a Northern California Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). We trained as volunteers with the local fire department and FEMA to prepare for earthquake disasters. I have been on the short end of the outcome during the Northridge quake. If I had this equipment then...well this would be a much longer story. Needless to say it took the local power 4 days to to be restored and then still had occasional brown outs for another week. Please don’t pass up the opportunity to own this equipment. In an emergency there are three options. Not surviving, surviving ok and surviving well. Survive well and be prepared.
These people know what they're talking about! They are survivalists and I respect that. Their products are top of the line in quality and durability. Their customer service has been great even though I didn't receive part of my order, but eventually, it got shipped. Assuming the holidays and recent blackouts in Cali contributed to the delay. I will continue to buy from them! THANK YOU 4PATRIOTS
