“I needed to get rid of the darkness for festivities around the patio and campgrounds and I needed to get rid of bugs and this thing does both. Everything you need is right there in the unit.


It's all weather. The rain doesn't bother it. There's no cords, there's no separate parts. It uses a UV light killer. So there's no stinky fluids or chemicals to be used. And it cleans the grid all by itself automatically.


Set up on the thing is real simple. When you get one, take it out of the box, put it outside and let it charge up and then push the button, that's all there is to it. My family loves it. My Whole Yard is Protected Now

"I live in Kentucky where we have a lot of problems with mosquitoes, especially this time of year. I've had my BugOUT Solar Lantern and bug zappers for about a week now and they've worked really well. I've got two on my front porch and two in my work shed out back. And they light up the whole place and they keep the bugs down.

Bug out solar lantern

We purchased 4 of these. We charged them up put them on our Porch. These work really well. Even Put one in kitchen for a pesky mosquito that came in with our puppy. That took care of that. I highly recommend these. Yup they really work!

Bug OUT Solar Lantern

I purchased 4 Solor Lanterns for "Just in case" I'm retired military and always want to be ready for when the "SHTF". My daughter thinks I'm nuts, but one of these days she will know the old man was right. I don't want to depend on oil lamps. The good ole sun can charge up my lanterns plus **** those pesky mosquitoes. They really work great and they are just like Potatoe chips you just can't have one. Larry W.

This is nice little lantern that have 3 light settings that work awesome on top of the capability of attract and **** those annoying mosquitoes on top of that the self cleaning action is super awesome and I even can charge my cell phone or tablet too with no problems at all.

Should try it!!! Inside kitchen to killing off fruit bugs. Really love it! Right now, it’s winter season so I have not experienced by trying it & putting it outside backyard but expect it will be work well!!
