The BugOUT Solar Lantern is self-cleaning. After 72 hours of mosquito-killing, the self-cleaning brush will begin to run. The brush runs both clockwise and counterclockwise to fully clean the electrified grid, sweeping dead insects into the lantern’s collection chamber.
To empty the chamber, simply reach under the lantern base and find the raised bar. Twist the bar clockwise to unscrew the chamber bottom. Remove bottom and dump contents into a trash can or compost. Replace bottom and twist to lock on base.
Your BugOUT Solar Lanterns have a max run time of about 16 hours when fully charged.
