I bought them to use in my smoke detectors. When my store bought batteries run out of juice I expect these to last as long as I have my house.

You ever have a smoke alarm go off in the middle of the night? We have 9 of em here, centrally wired into the house.So you go to the store the next day, and buy a few replacement 9 volt batteries, which AIN'T cheap...You replace the dead battery and all is hakuna... You stash the others you just bought for the next smoke alarm midnight chirp-fest.Problem is, it doesn't happen again for 2 years and you find? The replacement batteries you bought and stashed for the occasion? Are DEAD! These USB 9 volts solve that problem. They run out of juice? They recharge in a few hours tops, and they recharge upwards of 500 times. No more 9 volt purchases ever. These batteries will outlast ME! Fewer devices out there are being made that take 9 volt batteries. Selection at the store now reflect that. But if you have older smoke or carbon monoxide alarms that require these? THIS is the way to go. 5 stars for a five star idea!!! 😁

Due to my health: crushed vertebrae, knee replacement, bone loss, seizures and subsequent falls, I use a LOT of 9 volt batteries in my TENS unit that stays on 7 days a week for pain control. They have paid for themselves through the years I have had them by recharging over and over again. I definitely highly recommend this product!
