The secret to our 25-year shelf-life is in the packaging: first, your food is preserved using a careful “low-heat” dehydration process. Then, it’s carefully packed in Mylar to help protect against heat, light and moisture. We use a high-tech, high-capacity oxygen absorber to suck OUT any excess air. And the pouch is “cold sealed” with a special machine.
All this fancy technology seems like a lot of work. And it is! But it’s the secret to keeping your food safe for an amazing 25 years.
Note: Occasionally we produce a special recipe for an "add on" kit that is good for 5 or 10 years. These are always clearly marked so that you know what to expect before and after buying.
