So, first things first, how do you get your 4Patriots Power Cell up and running?

Well, it’s easy. 

Patriot Power Cell Instructions:

• Simply remove it from the box.
• Push the power button on the side of the unit to turn it on.
• Indicator lights on the top front panel will tell you how full your charge is.
  • Each light marks a 25% battery capacity.
  • When all 4 blue lights are lit, you're fully charged.

How to Charge Devices with Your Patriot Power Cell:

Your Patriot Power Cells work with any USB-equipped device. Just plug in your existing charging cord! There’s no need to buy extra equipment.

The cord that comes with your Patriot Power Cell is for recharging your Patriot Power Cell. It is not for charging your phone with a Patriot Power Cell. To charge your device, use the cord that came with that device.

Charge your mobile devices with the charging cords that came with those items. If it has a USB end, your cord will work with both of the USB ports.

1. Use your own power cord
2. Plug the USB end into one of the Patriot Power Cells USB ports
3. Plug the other end of your cord into your device
4. Charging should begin automatically — if it doesn’t, press the power button

How to Recharge Your Patriot Power Cell:

Recharge your Patriot Power Cells using the AC cord that comes with your units. The cord is short -- perfect for wall-charging. It plugs into any USB adapter… most people have a bunch of these at home. Or plug it into your car or computer.

Once plugged in, charging should begin automatically. If it doesn’t, press the power button.

1. Use the cord that came with your Patriot Power Cell
2. Plug the small end into the small center slot on your Patriot Power Cell
3. Plug the other end into any USB adapter, such as a “wall block” or computer port

Your Patriot Power Cell charges fastest via the AC charging cord that comes with each unit. A Patriot Power Cell can go from zero to “fully charged” in about 6 hours or less* using the AC cord. That’s pretty quick for such a big battery. 

As a backup, you can also charge your Patriot Power Cell phone charger with the sun, it simply takes longer. Charging via solar takes up to 40 hours.* Charge time will vary depending on lighting conditions. We recommend leaving it in direct sunlight on a window sill or outside in the light.

When you’re charging your 4Patriots power cell via sunlight, you’ll see indicator lights on the front panel: 

• One green light indicates your unit see’s sunlight.
• One green light and blue lights indicates the 4Patriots solar charger see’s sunlight and is charging.

Once it’s fully charged, your 4Patriots solar charger is ready to use.

* Battery performance will vary based on your charging and usage conditions, including discharge rates, cord and voltage-conversion efficiency, testing conditions, temperature, and age. Always follow storage and use instructions.

How to Store Your Patriot Power Cells:

If you’re storing your Patriot Power Cell away for an emergency, you’ll want to top it off about once a month. That way it’s always charged and ready, whenever you may need it. 

Do not expose your Patriot Power Cell to temps above 122°F or below 14°F. If you need to use your Patriot Power Cell in weather colder than 14°F, put it in your pocket or insulate it to protect it from extreme cold while in operation.
