While this Patriot Pure Ultimate Water Filtration System Replacement Parts purchase provides peace of mind, I had to ‘rob’ one of the washers (using 2 on each side of the container) in order to stop the filtered water leaks from around the spout. In a real-world scenario or SHTF situation, every drop of water will become a precious commodity.

This is a wonderful water filtration system. We like it because it keeps the necessary minerals in our water and is simple to use, working by gravity, Our daughter and family have used one since 2017. We purchased one for our home recently along with a 4Patriot pitcher which removes fluoride which can be placed in the frig for those who desire cold water. The set up was easy and I hand tightened the spigot as directed but still had a persistent leak. My husband came to my rescue and used a wrench to tighten it- wrench held it steady inside and he carefully hand tightened it outside. No more leaks! We ordered a few replacement sets since out daughter's water filter started to leak through the seam between the two parts after 6 years of use. In their case, I think the rubber stoppers just became loose over time! A gentleman on YouTube suggested that the rubber stoppers be placed the bottom from the outside of the upper canister for a more secure seal which we did when setting up ours.
