Susanne, Thanks for your positive review about our Food Bars! Since they come in a 9 pack, you actually can just seal them up in a zip loc bag once you open the packs. Hint of Lemon With a Pleasant Aftertaste
Just for kicks, I opened my sample package of Emergency Food Bars. Surprise! They were edible, and they satisfied my breakfast cravings while I completed some morning carpentry work. I tried this over multiple days with similar results. Second Surprise! as I ate the bars slowly, with a glass of milk, the aftertaste grew into a favorable affair, and I mentally rewarded myself for taking the test. Why eat them slowly? I was imagining being in a survival situation and those emergency food bars being my only comfort while lost, floating adrift on my sailboat or similar tough situations. Bottom line, I feel I could survive quite well on these bars for the duration of a short survival situation, and feel like I was at least fed.

Lemon Emergency Bars
Purchased them for emergencies as I live in cold climate. These can serve as extra handy nutrition during power outage or in our vehicles should we get stuck. They are not overly sweet in taste, and imagine they will serve me well when I really need them. Would recommend.
