    Handy helpful lantern

    This is the perfect little lantern. I have used it to walk to neighbors houses after dark. I can keep it charged with the solar panel. The handle makes it easy to carry. Anywhere I need a bright light, it’s does the job. And the price was reasonable.

The SoLantern is a portable solar lantern that doubles as a USB power bank. It packs very-bright LED beads that shine up to 800 lumens, with five light modes, and a built-in solar panel so you can recharge it with the sun.

It gives you reliable off-grid light for blackouts, camping, RVing or working in the garage, plus the ability to charge a phone from its built-in USB port. The SOS flash mode can signal for help.

Press the button to cycle through low, mid, high and SOS modes. A four-light meter shows charge level (each light is 25%). Recharge it from the sun, a wall USB adapter, your car or a computer, and plug a USB cord in to charge your devices.

Three ways: solar (about 8 hours in full sun), USB/AC (about 5 hours), or from a car or computer. Charge it fully before a storm so it's ready, since solar slows on cloudy days.

Yes. It's a battery-powered LED light with no flame or fumes, so it's made for safe indoor use during an outage. It's not a toy, so keep it away from young children.

A full charge gives about 12 hours of light in low mode; higher brightness uses power faster. The lithium battery can be recharged many times, and the solar panel tops it off whenever there's sun.

Unlike a flashlight, it lights a whole room and doubles as a power bank, and unlike battery lanterns it never needs disposable batteries thanks to solar.

One per room or key area is a good rule, plus one in each vehicle and go-bag. Many people keep several around the house so there's always a light within reach when the power cuts out.
