    somewhat disappointed

    if your mosquitos only come out at night it will work. we have them during daylight hours also

    Doesn’t really work

    I had high hopes for this product after all the reviews I read on their website. We’ve had quite a bit of rain this year and needed it for our backyard. Tested it out one night and we still got swarmed by mosquitoes.

The BugOUT is a 2-in-1 solar lantern and bug zapper. It uses UV light to attract flying insects, then an electric grid to zap them, while also working as an LED lantern with three light settings.

It clears flying pests like mosquitoes from a patio, deck or campsite while giving you light, and it does it pesticide-free using the power of the sun. It even cleans itself.

Charge it in the sun, then switch it on. The UV light draws bugs into an electric grid that zaps them, and every 72 hours a self-cleaning brush sweeps the grid so you just empty the chamber. Choose low, medium or high light.

By solar for cord-free charging, or fast-charge with a micro-USB cord from a power bank or outlet. Leave it in the sun and it'll be ready when bugs come out at night.

It's built for outdoor use, covering up to about 845 sq ft (a 5-meter radius). Its durable ABS housing is rain-proof and water-resistant. Follow the instructions for emptying and cleaning the chamber.

A full charge gives up to about 16 hours of bug-zapping protection, and it recharges endlessly in the sun. Light runtime varies with the brightness setting you choose.

Unlike plug-in zappers, it's solar and cordless with a lantern built in, and its self-cleaning grid spares you from handling dead insects.

One covers a typical patio or deck; add more to protect a larger yard or several gathering spots.
